Claudia Dafne Sevilla is a versatile musician who leads a rich and varied career specializing both in forte-piano and  modern piano, and musicology.

She has performed in numerous festivals and venues as a soloist, chamber musician and collaborative pianist. Just to name a few: the 3rd International Colloquium María Szymanowska and her time "Talents au féminin: mythes et réalité" at the Scientific Center of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Paris, as a collaborative pianist, at the Coupole’s Théâtre performing Stravinsky's Firebird with the orchestra of the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris under the baton of Adrian McDonel. As a chamber musician she has performed with her duo violin-piano alongside Farid Bensaid at the Yves Saint Laurent in Marrakech. As a soloist, she recently performed Mozart’s piano concerto KV488 with the Orchestra "Les Concerts Gais" at the Temple des Batignolles.

In 2015, she founded the Goya Piano Duo alongside the Parisian pianist Theodore Lambert, with whom she has performed in numerous festivals such as "Festival Internacional de Piano de Albacete" (FIPA), a festival inaugurated by Alicia de Larrocha in 2001, performing Beethoven's 9th Symphony in the two-piano arrangement by Liszt, as part of "Las Sinfonías al Piano de Beethoven" organized by the Albacete University. 

She has toured with her Piano Duo with pianist Antonio Soria throughout Italy, Belgium, France and Spain. 

 

She has been selected during 7 consecutive years (2012-2018) to participate at the International Summer PIano Festival - Barcelona Piano Academy (BPA), where she received masterclasses by the renowned pianists Christopher Elton, Rita Wagner, Jacques Rouvier, David Kuyken, Antonio Sánchez Lucena, Deirdre O'Donohue, Stanislav Pochekin, Albert Attenelle, Hortense Cartier-Bresson, Bruno Rigutto, Pierre Réach, Ivona Kaminska, Christopher Bowlby, etc. In 2016, she was awarded the "Yamaha Scholarship" and the BPA Spanish Music Special Mention, as the best Spanish participant of the Barcelona Piano Academy.

Claudia Dafne started playing the piano at the age of 5 in Albacete. She was awarded her Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance at the “Rafael Orozco” Conservatory in Córdoba (Spain) with honors. Later, she moved to Paris to pursue graduate studies in Piano performance at the École Normale de Musique with Ramzi Yassa and Paul Blacher, and chamber music with Emmanuel Strosser. In addition, she has pursued postgraduate studies in piano performance with Prof. Albert Attenelle at L'Escola de Música de Barcelona. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Early Music Performance in the specialty of Forte-piano at the Sorbonne University in Paris.

In 2013 she started her specialization in piano teaching at the Ezanville Conservatory of Music in France, and as keyboard practice teacher at the Université Paris-Sorbonne. She has also organized theoretical-practical seminars in collaboration with the Oviedo Music Conservatory and currently serves as a piano faculty at the International School of Music and Dance of Morocco and at the New York City Piano Academy.
