Full Music Program (Ages 4+)
NYMC-NYCPA Full Music Program guarantees the most complete music education combining music theory, music reading, ear training and instrument/vocal lessons.
MUSIC THEORY
All students are required to learn about music theory. Learning theory and reinforcing music reading enhances piano playing and help students to learn piano pieces much faster and in a more efficient way.
EAR TRAINING
Training aural skills help students how to learn to identify, solely by hearing, pitches, intervals, melody, chords, rhythms, and other basic elements of music that would definitely benefit their piano playing. It is critical to train the ears as well as learning how to play at sight.
