Kenneth Goltsberg is a guitarist, composer, arranger, and educator based in New York City.
Born in Brooklyn, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Composition from Berklee College of Music and has studied with renowned guitarists including Mark White, Sheryl Bailey, Pasquale Grasso, Ben Sher, and Cecil Alexander.
Kenneth currently has a growing catalogue of original music available on Spotify and is preparing to release both a new duo EP with virtuoso pianist Martha Kato and a full-length album with his trio.
With a uniquely diverse musical background, Kenneth developed his foundation in classical guitar, performing works by Tárrega, Villa-Lobos, and Barrios before transitioning to electric guitar. His artistic journey has led him to explore a wide range of genres, including jazz, blues, rock, R&B, funk, shred guitar, and metal.
With nearly a decade of teaching experience, Kenneth is dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive guitar instruction. His lessons cover repertoire, sight-reading, improvisation across styles, music theory, ear training, composition, and arranging.
In addition to teaching, Kenneth is an active performer in the NYC music scene and can be heard regularly as both a sideman and bandleader at various venues throughout the city.
