Tadeusz Domanowski was born in Poland. He started his artistic education at the age of nine at the Gliwice School of Music, in the class of Danuta Rafik. In 1999, he graduated from Marczella Erigina’s class at the Zenon Brzewski Secondary School of Music in Warsaw. In 2004 he graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, where he studied under Andrzej StefaÅ„ski. He also graduated from Advanced Certificate in Music Education at NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development, where he studied piano with Deirdre O’Donohue. 

 

For many years, he is also involved in piano teaching. Throughout his teaching career, he worked with over 80 students on various levels and in different ages. He  was appointed as a Piano Teacher at Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (Poland) and also as an Adjunct Faculty at Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development at New York University. In addition, he was also invited to teach at various summer master classes in Poland and in the U.S.

Domanowski has a busy international concert schedule, giving concerts in many countries of Europe, America and Asia.

In 2013 EMI Classics released Tadeusz Domanowski’s first solo album „Tadeusz Domanowski - piano”, which includes works by Scarlatti, Schumann, Liszt, Prokofiev and virtuoso transcriptions by Vladimir Horowitz. His recent album with complete songs by the polish composer Eugeniusz Morawski, which he recorded in 2014 with Agnieszka Rehlis was nominated for Fryderyk 2015 Award of the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry.

 

His next engagements include solo recitals in New York, Albany, Los Angeles as well as masterclass and the gala recital at the Paderewski Festival in Paso Robles, CA.
